Internernship
We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individual who is interested in international development issues. The candidate should have good communication skills, be flexible, friendly and should be able to work independently, as well as a part of a small team. He/she will have a proactive approach and be self-motivated and confident. He/she should strive for excellence, in whatever small the task and exhibit a willingness to learn. The intern should work well in a multicultural and international dynamic team. We specially welcome applications from young women from marginalised background looking for some experience in the development sector. Introduction:
Nepal is a very patriarchal country. Therefore SIWCW aims to make structural changes of the society in general. A change of mindset among the people would make the women and men of Nepal more equal.
Working at SIWCW will give you firsthand experience in helping the women from marginalized community, gender-based violence and women empowerment. It will also give you insight in the work of national and international NGOs in Nepal. You will get to participate in meetings, workshops and different women centered programs as well as get to learn how to prepare a project proposal and a concept note.
