About Organization

Society Initiated for Women and Children Welfare SIWCW is a non-government, non-profitable organization working for women and children welfare in Nepal to promote women’s status, empowering and enhancing women and children's livelihood opportunities.The organization is led by women only and is functioning on a national level.

SIWCW'S Objectives

• To organize different programs for social, academic, economic and cultural welfare of women and children
• To support in women empowerment through different income generation and capacity building training
• To advocate for protection and promotion of women and children
• To organize different programs for welfare of marginalized, back ward and minority groups of women and children
• To organize different awareness raising program on various burning issues of society
• To make efforts for women independence and empowerment
• To organize different programs for protection and promotion of the human rights of women and children
• To boost youth participation in the utilization of natural resources and enhance their skills and knowledge

Vision and Mission

SIWCW strives for women and children empowerment through their active participation in development activities for their holistic development.

Collaboration

SIWCW coordinates and collaborates directly with the local authorities and different concerned stakeholders, mobilizes its members to raise voice against women discrimination to create a system to ensure the women rights.
